Corey Allmendinger, LADC, PLMHP, PCMSW, is one of the dedicated clinicians practicing at The Healing Path in Fremont, Nebraska. He was drawn to a career in behavioral health following his own sobriety journey.

Corey was roughly two years sober when he felt called to pursue a career in the helping field. He did some research and eventually enrolled in classes.

Corey is a social worker and licensed drug and alcohol counselor with The Healing Path and is especially passionate about helping people dealing with crises or experiencing challenges related to substance use. He’s equally invested in working with those who’ve been in the criminal justice system.

The best part of being in the helping field is seeing people begin to glow again and enjoy life again. It’s about allowing the individual to drive their treatment whenever possible while treating them with dignity and respect, It’s about offering unbiased care in an equitable, empathetic, and holistic manner.
